Next, Ms. Yeh showed her collection of the graduates’ past ten years of memories and wished the graduates a successful future. The cute preschoolers, music class, 6th and 7th graders all performed “A Face Full of Fortune.”

The 7th graders brought an interesting in displaying tongue twister abilities and talking and singing at the same time.
The following performance featured two students: one, northern California finalist in storytelling and another, a medalist in academic competition. Their achievement was extraordinary in that they were selected from 120 competing Chinese schools. Special recognition to all the participating students in this year’s academic competitions and the teachers that helped aid them along the way. From intonation, fluidity, content, and pronunciation, all students did exceptionally well.
The other performances by the “Gratitude” and the “Combined Heart” classes included “Mom’s Precious Child.” 8th graders also performed “Invisible Wings” and threw the audience into chatter. “Every time in the feeling of loneliness or hurt without the appearance of tears, we know we have a pair of invisible wings…” The song lyrics matched the students’ hand gestures and moved the audience.
This year, Principal Rosemary Yen is retiring from his position as principal. Ms. Sophia Su is appointed as next year’s new principal. Many students gifted flowers to the retiring principal giving a scene that was touching to the heart. The thunderous applause of the auditorium resonated in the walls.
