Thanksgiving Humanities Course
As the year comes to an end, even amongst the stress of the pandemic, there is still much to be thankful for. As Thanksgiving approaches, we are reminded to be grateful for the safety and health of those around us.
In this season, there are many people and events that we can express our gratitude for, especially if we were not able to in the given moment. Thanksgiving is a good time to look back on the past year and remember all the people who have left a positive impact on us.
On October 22nd, Tzu Chi hosted a Thanksgiving humanities course through zoom. The students who shared their gratitude towards family members, teachers, or even mother nature to the class deserve recognition for their avid participation. Hopefully all parents that attended received words of gratitude from their children.
In addition to our gratitude towards family, we also want to be thankful for those around us. We can work towards expressing love, cherishing nature, refraining from eating meat as a way of respecting animals, and together, promoting kindness.
Wishing everyone a Happy Thanksgiving!
